Green Pineapple and Spinach Smoothie

Hello, beautiful people! I have a really delicious recipe to share with you today- vibrant and nutritious Green Pineapple and Spinach Smoothie. It's packed with antioxidants, protein, calcium and fiber. To be honest, I wasn't a smoothie fan, but recently, I realized how delicious smoothies can be and how, by making them yourself, you can make them so so nutritious and wholesome!
I don't know about you, but smoothies are my current obsession and I know I'll be making them throughout the summer, because they're so hydrating, thick and icy. Hope you enjoy this smoothie idea!
ingredients(serves one):
-1 small banana
-1 handful frozen pineapple*
-1 handful fresh spinach
-1/2 tsp(teaspoon) ginger powder
*I buy fresh pineapple, cut it into little pieces and them, I freeze it myself.

directions:
-throw all of the ingredients in a blender and blend until you get a thick smoothie -pour the smoothie in a bowl and garnish it with your favorite toppings

As toppings, I used: homemade GirlAroundTheFood granola, fresh strawberries and blueberries, sprinkle of pumpkin seeds, goji berries and homemade GirlAroundTheFood almond butter.
Feel free to use any other topping that you'd like/ have on hand.

This smoothie also makes a perfect on-the-go breakfast/ snack to bring along with you to school, uni, work or simply, a walk. You top it with your favorite fruits, some granola and nut butter, or enjoy it plain as it is!
