Almond Cacao Energy Bites

Hello! Here I am again with another energy bites recipe :) these Almond Cacao Energy Bites are indulgent, chocolaty, delicious and all in all, sooo wholesome- made with only a few ingredients, all natural and they make the perfect snack for when you're studying, working or just being bored (hey, we don't judge here)!


So, let me show you how to make them!

ingredients:

-150 g almonds, raw

-2 tablespoons cacao powder, raw

-1 tablespoon coconut oil, melted

-200 g dates, fresh/ soft

-2 tablespoons almond butter, smooth

-pinch of sea salt

directions:

-place the almonds in a food processor/ powerful blender and blend them until they almost have a flour-like consistency

-add the cacao powder and pinch of salt and continue to blend for an additional 10 seconds

-add the remaining ingredients, such as dates, almond butter and melted coconut oil

blend everything nicely until you get a sticky mixture that you can form little bite-sized balls from

-make the energy bites, place them on a plate and leave them in the fridge to harden

You can enjoy them plain as they are or you can dust them with some coconut flakes(right), ground pumpkin seeds(middle) and raw carob/cacao powder(left) for a truffle look!
