Vegan Brazilian Bread Bites

These Vegan Brazilian Bread Bites are the next thing you'll want to try, trust me! The original recipe obviously origins from Brazil and their real name is pão de queijo. They're normally made with cheese, but we're gonna make a vegan verison today instead, but trust me- you won't miss out on the taste! The potatoes in this recipe, in my opinion, make them super cheesy in flavor (don't ask me how that's possible but the flavor is there).

ingredients:

3 mashed boiled yellow potatoes

80 ml extra virgin olive oil

125 ml hot boiling water

3 tablespoons plant-based milk

1 teaspoon curry spice or turmeric powder

1 teaspoon sea salt

450 g mix of corn flour and whole grain flour*

2 tablespoons nutritional yeast**

*you can use any type of flour

**this is totally optional. The nutritional yeast just gives it a more cheesy flavor, but skipping this ingredient will do no harm :)

directions:

-turn the oven on to 180 degrees Celsius

-in a big bowl, mix the dry ingredients and after that, simply add all of the wet ingredients until a dough forms

-on a baking pan lined with baking paper, from the dough, form little balls and place them on the baking pan

-bake for 30 minutes or until they're brown/ golden on the top

-best if enjoyed right away
