Today I'm gonna bless you all with the most simple, yet delicious breakfast that you can make for yourself. It includes lot of nut butter, seeds and tasty fruits. If you like any of the ingredients above, you're in for a ride!
Not only it's delicious, but it's very easy to make and very satisfying. It's indulgent because of the fruits but we have a perfect balance with the variety of seeds that we'll include and also, the nut butter will do its magic and balance out the natural sugars we consume from the fruit.
Nutritious fact: any kind of nut butter is packed with fibre, protein, unsaturated fats that help the process of breaking down the sugar and all kinds of nutrients. It's rich in magnesium, B7 and it keeps us fuller for longer, which does weight control.
Personally, I'm a big fan of nut butter and I would not omit it in this recipe, because it's freaking delicious and obviously extremely nutritious, so... :)

So, let's break it down. You pour your oat flakes in a medium-size bowl(or whatever kind you feel would satisfy you) and to that, add your plant-based milk(almond, oat, cashew etc.), just enough so that it covers the oats you poured beforehand. Let it sit for about 10 minutes.
Then you'll notice that the oats have soaked up a lot of the liquid, so just about now you can add additional amount of plant milk. This step depends on your personal taste, wether you like your oatmeal liquid-y or thick. Personally, I like it to be more on the liquid-y side.

Now, it's time to get creative! The fruit I reach out for first is a banana. I think it's combined very well with the oatmeal, because plain oatmeal is very light, so the thickness of a banana is the perfect match in my opinion. The second fruit I reach out for are frozen/fresh berries( almost always I go for raspberries). In the summer, I make the effort to buy fresh berries, like strawberries, blueberries, raspberries and blackberries, because they're found fresh only for a short period of time and they're just so good for you, so why resist them, right?
Nutritious fact: berries are high in fiber and are loaded with antioxidants, which help our bodies fight the oxidants, which "damage" our skin as we age. They are also loaded with vitamins, minerals and help lower cholesterol. Another mind blowing fact is that frozen berries actually contain double the nutrients and antioxidants that fresh berries have to provide.
The final step on this journey is the decoration and here, you can basically do whatever you want and wish with your oatmeal. I assume that everyone has a different preference and I'll just share my suggestion down below and maybe, that'll be the perfect fit for you too.
My seeds of choice are flax seed, chia seeds and pumpkin seeds and also, what I like to add too are dried goji berries and a sprinkle of some raw cashews. Finally, I love to top my oatmeal with a generous amount of cinnamon, just because I like the flavor it gives and also it spices things up.

Nutritious facts:
Chia seeds are really important, especially if you're eating plant-based, because they contain necessary Omega-3 fats, that most people think it can be only found in fish product/oils. Chia seeds are also rich in antioxidants, they contain calcium, fiber and iron.
Flax seeds are also high in antioxidants and Omega-3 fats and contain high levels of protein and dietary fiber, which is necessary and should be consumed daily.
Pumpkin seeds have a lot of nutrients, but I'm just going to say one thing about them- they have the highest level of protein among all seeds (that's 20g of protein per 100g).
Cinnamon lowers blood sugar levels, so that when we eat it, it satisfies us but doesn't do us any harm.

There you have it! Your simple, yet delicious, yet healthy 15-minute breakfast. I really hope you savor every bite of it and just enjoy the moment. All of the ingredients and the nutrients they provide are crucial for the normal function of our bodies.
