Raw Peanut Butter Chocolate Bars

I'M BACK BY POPULAR DEMAND! I took a little break because I had so much on my plate and so much work regarding school, so I had to do it. But now I'm back again and this Raw Peanut Butter Chocolate Bars are pure heaven- I just tried one right now and, I'm not even kidding, I LOST IT!

They really remind me of Snickers bars, but this time, these beauties are wholesome, made with natural ingredients, no added sugars and nasty ingredients! I hope y'all make them and enjoy yourself as much as I do!

ingredients(for the base):

-1 cup almonds, raw

-8 dates, fresh/ soft

-1 tbsp coconut oil, melted

-1 tbsp cacao powder, organic

(for the peanut butter layer):

-5 tbsp peanut butter, pure

-2 tbsp maple syrup

-1 tbsp coconut oil, melted

-1 tbsp buckwheat seeds(optional)*

(for the chocolate layer):

-4 tbsp cacao powder, organic

-4 tbsp maple syrup

-1 tbsp coconut oil, melted

*I added buckwheat seeds just for the extra crunch, but you can totally skip this part

direction:

-BASE: in a food processor, add the almonds and blend them until they achieved a flour-like consistency and them add the remaining ingredients for the base. At this point, you'll need to line your container(I used a pan for banana bread, the narrow and long one) with baking paper and gently press this blend, evenly distributing the mixture on the surface. Set that aside.

-PEANUT BUTTER LAYER: in a small bowl, mix all of the ingredients for this layer until everything is well combined. Then, spread the mix gently onto the base-layer evenly distributing it.

-CHOCOLATE LAYER: in a small bowl, mix all of the ingredients for this layer until everything is well combined. Then, spread the mix gently onto the peanut butter layer evenly distributing it.

-finally, place the pan in the freezer and let it sit there overnight to harden.

-cut them into little squares and my warm recommendation is to keep them in the freezer because that way they'll be like ice-cream bites

I can't rave about these bars enough-they're just so delicious and make a great dessert! You can sprinkle some peanut on top if you wanna get fancier. Now, go on and make these because they definitely make life better!
