Since I was a kid, I always loved fries and I think everyone feels that way- I mean what kid doesn't like fries? This past year I fell head over heels for food and cooking and I always try to make something new and also, make a healthier version of it. So, lately I've been loving fries, but I make them oven-baked as oppose to deep frying them!
In my opinion, oven-baked are even better than the deep fried, because after eating these, you won't get that heavy feeling in your stomach and that's because oven-baked fries use a lot less oil that fried foods, obviously. So that's a win-win!

These Crispy Oven-Baked Sweet Potato Fries are crunchy, spicy and soooo delicious- a great way to try something new and have a break from regular potatoes. Sweet potatoes are also rich in fiber, vitamin B(beta carotene), calcium and iron, so they're very nutritious, filling and good for you and your body!

ingredients:
sweet potatoes(use as many as you like)
corn flour(I used 3 tablespoons for 2 large sweet potatoes)
pinch of salt
sunflower oil(I used 4 tablespoons for 2 large sweet potatoes)
spices of choice
(for the tahini dip)
3 tablespoons tahini/sesame seed butter
1 tablespoon fresh lemon juice
1 clove of garlic
pinch of salt
water

directions:
-cut your potatoes into long lines like in the photos and make sure they're all equal width
-place them in a bowl with water and let them sit for 15 minutes
-rinse them and with a clear kitchen cloth, remove any access water from them(basically, make sure they're not too wet)
-add all the spices and flour and mix everything well with your hands
-finally, add the oil and mix again. Place them on a baking pan and place them in the oven, which has been previously heated at 200 degrees Celsius
bake them for about 45 minutes/until you see they're becoming slightly "burned" aka crispy. I even turn my oven on 220 degrees Celsius and I just keep an eye on them-that way, they cook faster and with a high temperature like that, they'll come out a lot crispier*
*but do what's best for your oven.
