Cozy Coconut Oatmeal

I don't know about you, but these past days, I've gone back to the classic oatmeal for breakfast, maybe because the weather is a bit colder. I've been making this delicious and creamy Cozy Coconut Oatmeal for a while, even months back, but I haven't shared the recipe, so here it is!

ingredients(for one serving):
-50 g oat flakes/ rolled oats
-150 ml plant-based milk(I used homemade walnut milk)
-125 ml coconut milk(from a can/ the thick part)
-1 tsp(teaspoon) cinnamon
+toppings, like fruits, seeds, nut butter etc.

directions:
-in a pan, on medium-high heat, add the oats, along with the plant milk, coconut milk and cinnamon and stir
-mix everything well together and cook it for about 10-15 minutes, until it becomes thick
-transfer it in a bowl and garnish it with your favorite toppings

I really love fresh berries, like strawberries, blueberries, raspberries and blackberries, so I'm really happy that the season of fresh berries is here! I garnished mine with banana coins, fresh blueberries and strawberries, buckwheat seeds, pumpkin seed, chia seeds, flax seeds, goji berries and homemade GirlAroundTheFood Peanut Butter.
