Hello people! Today I have a very special recipe for you, another veggie-based burger patties- Carrot Turmeric Patties! I really like experimenting in the kitchen and I usually make basic recipes and each time, I spice things up with something different!
These patties are made with wholesome and natural ingredients and that's why they're loaded with healthy fats and omega-3(from the walnuts), fiber(from the oats), proteins(from the red kidney beans), antioxidants(from the lovely turmeric) and vitamin B(from the carrots)! Hope you enjoy this recipe and I highly recommend you try it!

ingredients*:
-4 medium carrots, shredded
1 cup red kidney beans, from a jar
-1 cup/ 150 g walnuts**
-1/2 cup/ 50 g oat flakes/rolled oats**
-2 tbsp(tablespoon) ground flax seed**
-1 tsp(teaspoon) sea salt
-pinch of freshly-cracked black pepper
-1 tsp ground turmeric
**these ingredients are a substitute for regular flour, but feel free to use flour instead(1+1/2 cups to be exact)

directions:
-in a food processor/ blender mix the walnuts, oats, ground flax seed and all the spices until they for a flour-like texture. Set that aside.
-to a food processor/ high-speed blender add the shredded carrots, red kidney beans and the "flour" mixture. Blend until it forms a sticky mixture that is thick enough that you can form patties from
-first, make a round-shaped ball and then press it between your hands so that it makes flat patties
Note: you can either fry them on a pan or bake them in the oven with a little bit of oil, until they're crispy on the outside and fully cooked on the inside(aprox. 3 minutes on each side(total: 6 minutes), depending on the heat you're cooking them on

You can enjoy these beauties just like that, as a side with Crispy Oven-Baked Fries/ boiled potatoes, maybe some deep-leafy greens as a salad or you can feature them in a veggie burger- that'd be awesome!
